For the Unemployed

For the UnemployedFor those who feel rejected and judged.

For those who feel stripped of their identity.

For those who are exhausted by the constant battle.

For those who are starting to lose hope.

For those who are questioning their giftedness.

For those who are struggling financially.

For those who no longer know what it is they dream of doing.

For those whose prayer has become one word: ‘Please‘.

For the UnemployedMay God pour His grace out upon you.

May He provide for you in all things.

May you know you are talented and beautiful.

May you find peace.

May you be filled with hope.

May you find strength today to pick yourself up, and start afresh.

I know how you feel. It gets better, I promise.

  1. My husband graduated in May with his phd and is still looking for a career job. He is teaching at a local university as an instructor but it is not a phd job. This is something we both needed to hear today. Thank you!

    1. I’m glad it helped. Since getting married last year, I have been through about 3/4 jobs for various reasons, and ended up unemployed for long periods. God has been so good, as He has always provided when times were hard, but I know how disheartening it can be. I hope you enjoy the blog, and I will keep you and your husband in my prayers! πŸ™‚

  2. Thank you so much for this beautiful post and your blog. Ever since finding your blog- a mere coincidence (?)- I’ve been visiting it, reading and thinking about what you write- and it has made many of my fears and worries weaken. This post, however, has moved me so deeply. Having recently graduated from a masters degree and emigrated to the UK in hopes of having a better life, I have found myself not only unemployed but also causing pain to the ones I love, who have to deal with my mood. This post has given me strength ad hope to carry on with my job search and your blog is helping me to become a better and more mature person. Thank you!
